Engineering
Many of our clients utilize our knowledge of design and engineering to help them with their own development. We frequently do Computer-Aided Design (CAD), rapid prototyping, and 3D printing to help our clients with their research and development of new products.
Training
We provide our clients and their IG manufacturing technicians in-situ training about all aspects of making IG units. Depending on the skill and knowledge of the technicians, we offer basic Glass 101 training all the way up to very specific quality and production maximization training. We can quickly determine the clients needs and accommodate them.
Equipment Maintenance
As a team we have decades of experience building and fixing the equipment used in the fenestration industry. Our clients often ask for our help with problem determination and troubleshooting. In addition, we offer our clients a maintenance program to replace equipment wear parts. Items like the spacer hand tool (Shuttle) parts, sealant nozzles, belt cleats for automated lines, lances for gas filling etc.
Certification
We provide our clients with solutions in certification for windows, doors, and insulated glass units. From advising our clients on the certification process to turn-key solutions where we handle each detail. We have a thorough understanding of all relevant standards, including ASTM, ANSI, CGSB and Energy Star. In combination with our diverse product and equipment knowledge, we help our clients exceed the industry standards.
Pre-Audit Inspection
Prior to an upcoming certification, we offer our clients a pre-audit inspection. Our inspection covers all aspects of manufacturing that will be affected during the audit. We make suggestions for equipment adjustments, conduct quality checks and final product inspections, test IG argon levels, and train technicians.
Sourcing Products
When clients need specific products, because of our years of experience and our contacts throughout North America, we have access to many sources. We provide clients with options for more cost-effective product solutions as well as creating products unique to their needs. We design our own small parts, like sealant nozzles, that are specifically designed to meet or exceed the performance of other brands.
